I found a good product on Amazon’s Germany site to enable communication between the house where my elderly parents live and my brother’s house. I was very happy to find this product, which is not available on Amazon in many countries.

I purchased the product called MAGT doorphone system, two-way audio door doorphone, by paying 47.27 Euros.

I made the cable connections, but the product did not work correctly. Both phones ring constantly and won’t stop.

I sent the product to my engineer friend by cargo. My friend, who opened the phone, found many missing parts.

The product I purchased from Amazon Germany was shipped from Australia. I wonder how the laws of Germany and Australia allowed the sale of this defective product?

I wanted to return the product, but Amazon informed me that it could only refund me 8.40 Euros for the product I purchased for 47.27 Euros.

I will throw the product away instead of returning it.
